I've finally found out for sure who made these, this document here (page 23) says that they are indeed Cooper "Urban Light" URB lumes...although they were actually converted in the mid 1990s instead of the mid 80s, I've seem pics from 89 with the old incandescents still in use.

Sort of but I think the Spherolite has a deeper refractor and dosen't have the side "bumps" on the head.

That's the same place i got my PDFs from. If you check out the cobrahead spec sheets on that site, you'll see that mercury vapor is an option. Very Happy
