Some double guy wire arms Close to Downtown Denver on I-25.
Yeah, have been meaning to get a pic of these. Got one finally as I was driving down 25 on my way to Hobby Lobby (for spray paint and meet my mom) from Graybar, so the 115 was sitting nicely in the trunk of the car when I took this pic.

In fact that is the football stadium where the Denver Broncos play (Invesco Field) Right on the edge. If only the Broncos did a good JOB playing last season. xD

But yeah, M-400 a1's and Model 25's. They must of not replaced the poles though.

Nice to see some older poles and arms still in use.

Obviously the use of double guy wire arms,in streetlighting and signals faded when metal technology developed steel strong enough to make long arms without needing the guy wires...the strongest arm is definetly the truss arm tho.

I dunno why they didn't replace these poles.

So what is the arm evolution, is it, double guy, truss, then upsweep?

well if the poles aren't terribly corroded or damaged and still structurally sound i don't see why not to replace them,i see old poles in fair condition standing in a lot of places.
