I wonder why the drop lens and FCO M-400 A/R3's have the same reflector. They should of used a different one.

they don't have to. It's cheaper to do this. The reflector dose a decent job in FCO and SCO, it's just that streak that's the problem. And if the drop lens gets smashed, it won't affect the light distribution. Laughing

I was looking inside this and saw the white wire connected TO the housing.. Have you tested this thing before?

I wonder that might be a Canadian thing, my R47 also had the white wire connected to the housing.

It was working when it came down,and I also tested it at later date.Some seem to have the neutral connected to the housing,just make sure you connect it the right way Razz

I personally wouldn't keep the nuetral connected to the housing. Tony's OV-15 had the nuetral connected to the housing before too...

I know, which makes me want to KEEP it there because he removed it and then the ballast fried. I don't think that would happen again but you never know.. xD
