Pity you didnt photograph the Dam Floodlit at night see HERE or take photos of t he lighting in the area example see HERE for a Streetlight at the Hoover Dam,

Ah yes there are lights in this pic! But if you stop and think all that goes on here and all the other pics of eqquipment! Without all that then most af the lighting out west would not be lit! Laughing

True, It would be very Interesting to see the Flood lighting Fittings used on the Dam itself I believe they are recessed in the Concrete, the Street Lighting Poles look 1930's is as they have the Scroll work in them pity the Origional Fittings were removed and modern Cobraheads are now used

Yes that would be interesting indeed! If I ever go back out there I'll have to see if the tour goes all the way down there. The tour I took didn't go that far. As for the street lights it would have been nice to see the original fixtures on those poles! As old as the dam is I'm sure the were some nice fixtures! Maybe some nice Gumballs!

Possibly or the Acorn Shape Fittings which was typical for 1930's street lighting All the Best
