Very Nice, Cool looks like it's a Sola ballast, the same brand as the original HPS ballast in my R47. I wonder how old is this ballast...

Thanks, yep its a Sola Canada ballast; I'm not sure of the date and I don't think it says on it Smile

I have never seen the capacitor with a cover over the terminals like that.

i think the Cap Cover makes it look very Neat and Organized.

Yeah it does, all of my new ballasts have them, my two 1 KW MH ballasts have them and so does my 1KW HPS

Yeah I agree with Niall and Devonte too the cover tidies the look of the cap, my ballasts from my B2255 and my R47 both have covers on the cap but my new 1kw MH ballast doesn't for some reason along with my other new ballasts but they have dry plastic cased caps instead.
