The shape and the size of this PL adapter are very similar to the "Orion" PL adapter Eltam Ein-Hashophet manufactured in Israel in the past.

I love those old CFL adaptors! I have some different ones.....one problem was they were big sometimes they don't fit a fixture!

I think it isthe reason these fall out of poplarity. For stand lamps the circlines work well, so are made still today.

These circlines adapters only made in the US as in Europe Osram and another companies makes circlines with the adapter built into the lamp and electronically ballasted ("Self ballasted" circline lamps) like Osram Circolux which is Self Ballasted HO T5 circline. In Israel we have either not the adapters and not the SB circlines. I think because most of the stand lamps in Israel are spots (Rxx reflector lamps as a default) and not decorative like in the US. Also these circline adapters is ONLY for T12 circlines which probably banned (Or at least not imported today) in Israel as i didn't found now any T12 circlines for sale in ACE for example. Only in T9 and in T5.

I do not know of any T12 circlines......I only know about T9 circlines.....and the newer T5 ones...but I have not heard or known any T12 circlines...

well there isent reely A T12 cerculine BUT the UK did have 80W T12 cerculines SUPER RARE only one is known
