Curiously, they didn't put the labels on the lens. Perhaps they like the pleasant soothing greened MV bulb Very Happy

The stickers won't adhere well to a prismatic surface. Wink I like the vintage look to this canopy light. Is it actually IN the bathroom? Neutral I'm guessing it's a tad whiter than the pic suggests? Though when i use my clear 100W philips MV lamp (NOS) in my M-250A with my really yellowed (or more correctly browned) refractor, the color is very green. I guess such could be the case with this? With a coated lamp the light just looks yellow in my M-250A though. I love the variety of lamps and refractors i have for my M-250A! I'm hoping someday to get a SUPER dimmed out 100W MV lamp. Very Happy

I think indoor MV used to be quite common during the 70s, I know of a few commercial buildings with MV indoors ranging from 100w to 400w.

i think the Rhode Island Mall had MV cans but it's been closed for years now. It was recently bought and renovations are in the works. Apparently it's going to be a "big box" store complex versus a mall with small outlets and a few anchor stores. the outside of the mall looks modern but the inside has an extremely old look to it IIRC. The little stores are likely all F40T12 since most of the suites have been vacent since the 90s. The very last couple of stores probably had T8 retrofits. I'd love to get my hands on some of the fixtures there or even just a few ballasts and lamps, but i don't see that happening. Neutral

The Yonge Eglinton Centre in Toronto still has some huge MV cans in use with 175w Sylvania /DX cleartops.
