Kitchen cove lighting
I found this Lampi undercabinet fixture at a garage sale and converted it from rapid-start to preheat with the starter hidden inside as there are no knockouts in this fixture. I ended up "installing" it in my kitchen above the cabinets in the cove above the refrigerator and use a GE Wide-Spectrum plant & aquarium light. It's fairly dim with a warm pinkish colour and very good colour rendering, so it makes an interesting accent light or is nice by itself in the late evenings when I don't want a lot of light.

I like indirect lighting too, especially with fluorescents!

I have a sorta indirect 70w CMH PAR aimed up at the ceiling in my room.

I use indirect lighting all over the place in my house. Direct lighting is good for work lighting but kind of harsh for relaxing.

You're right...I should do that in my house!
