The Line Materials Spherolite returns, with a new light source.
The Spherolite has been reinstalled, this time with a Thomas & Betts head so it fits on a standard yard light arm (the original head was heavier and had a larger slipfitter, so I had rigged up an "adapter" for it which didn't look very good). I made some modifications for the safety chain, the socket assembly, and fitted it with a ballast, new lamp and 90's era Fisher Pierce photocontrol. The question is...what is the mystery light source?
