Lithonia wraparound
This is my bedroom ceiling light....the girls don't dig it, but I love it's classic style. It's great for jarring yourself awake for work on a dark, rainy, Seattle morning with its 5000K Sylvania F40T12 tubes. It originally had an Advance magnetic ballast, then I used an Advance electronic T12 ballast for a few years, and then went back to magnetic using a MagneTek Universal ballast.

Interesting, it's too bad that most rapid start electronic ballasts made today tend to instant start without the nice startup flicker of real RS.

Yeah I bought a Cooper Metalux single lamp F40T12 electronic RS strip light (oddly enough it had a GE ballast) at Lowe's and the lamps started right away. It's now in my grandparent's basement over the sink so my grandma can clean out the litter boxes for their cats. The rest of the basement is lit by four lamp magnetic RS F40T12 troffers and two 2-lamp wraps of the same lamp and ballast type.

As of this month, it's re-ballasted with a magnetic ballast again for good startup flicker Smile

Heh, I do that too sometimes especially if the stock ballast is cheap one.
