AWESOME!!!! What is this place? Kinda funny how the rings are upside down on that closest fixture. Laughing

2 or 3 of them had upside-down rings! I think there were 7-9 of those fixtures in that room....That is actually a thrift shop store! It was where I found a nice desk lamp (which I haven't actually posted here yet) but it had a F14T12 soft white GE lamp from 1986 I believe...funny thing it's an inside etcher!

The two other rooms one in the back and one in the front were more modern....with troffers....A lot of stores in the downtown Frederick are actually kinda like this......but I haven't yet found halfpipers.....although there's a good number of louvered fixtures like above....or strange old fluorescents...

Cool! What type bulbs did those ringed fixtures have? Both my middle school and high school had F96 louvered fixtures like those. All were Warm White. I remember seeing GE, Westy and KEN-RAD lamps in them.

Those incandescent fixtures look like Saturn lights, probably with standard IF or clear bulbs instead of the usual silver bowls.

That room definitely is 50s looking!

I like those can-lights they look cool. Are the fluorescent lights pre-heat?

I like the louvered fluorescent fixtures in the back, I remember lots of schools used to use them in classrooms and even some were used in the washrooms. Nowadays most classrooms use troffers and washrooms use vapourtight luminaires.

I love this pic! Thanks for showing!

Those incandescent they looked like they had "fake frosted" lamps and the filament was kinda viewable.....they were regular sized lamps too....

Those Louvered fluorescents had modern GE lamps in it and I believe they were rapid start. My first Elementary school from 1964 I attended in 1988-1990 had those in their main part of the school (the newer part of the school was also from the later 60s but had wraparounds instead) In matter of fact that cool school I was in, I think their Gym room was built in late 70s had Mercury vapor recessed fixtures covered in sorta diffused looking glass!!!
