Rockville Pike Traffic Night Shot!!
|
This night shot was taken by me.
This is set at ISO of 80, and has 5 second exposure time. No flash at all.
As this picture has a 5 second time elapse, you can see that some of the car was moving then stopped when this picture was capturing! The less faded the car is in the picture, the longer it was being captured, the more faded cars was not exposed to my camera as long as the ones that was exposed. When I pressed the shutter button, there was no cars on the road, maybe except for a few passing ones which formed the long light. By the time the 5 seconds ended, the cars were at the red light (which was on the left of this picture) so the car has had stopped.
This is Rockville route 355...you can see the Metro tracks just next to the road.......
You can see a HPS on the left, which is GE M-250R2 fixture 150 watt I believe. PEPCO tends to use more lower wattage fixtures even on main roads and higher wattage are more common on the intersections.
