Internals of the Westinghouse OV-15 Tudor

Man I'd like to find one of those. We have some up here still but they are all HPS.

We have some of these in HPS as well. Why is the ballast mounted on the upper housing if it's a power door fixture? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a power door?

Nice light! The Powerlite B2255 also had a option to mount the ballast on either the door or housing.

Why put the ballast in the top housing if they already had the OV15?
That's odd......

The bolts are different in this one though. Mine has the bolt screw ins on the TOP. Kinda like a GE except it has four bolts.
How exactly is the ballast mounted?

This one has 4 bolts on the top too.....the ones you see are nuts for the slipfitter....you bolt them from top not the bottom so its the same!
