Here is the inside of the grocery store that was renovated last year where I took pics of the outside wall lighting ,four tube T8 fixtures with GE lamps replaced 400W metal halide high bays.
Yep, this is Extra Foods, a Loblaw company at the mall. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extra_Foods Sister company, The Real Canadian Super Store is here too in Abbotsford, which is larger.
My local Loblaws got renovated last year too but they didn't change out the MH highbays to fluorescent. I believe some of the track lights got changed to CMH though.
They did a complete renovation including the outside to this store, all new shelving, track lighting you can see in the produce and bakery section is also new,new paint, much better than the previous yellow interior lol.
There ARE Kroger stores here in Colorado, they just aren't named Kroger, it's called "King Soopers" Here. And yeah I have seen lots of stores change their Metal Halide high bays to these florescent fixtures. Home Depots, Lowes, Office Depots, And whatever other stores that used MH highbays. Except Best buy.. I notice they seem not to replace them. xD
They recently changed out the majority of the MH highbays in my Loblaws to8 X F23T8 tandem fixtures like these. Only the highbays on the highest parts of the ceiling are left.
