Typical JR Station Platform

Here's a shot of the lighting installed at most of the JR (Japan Rail) stations on the Yamanote line in Tokyo. It's a rail line that forms a loop around parts of Tokyo...sorta like a above ground subway.
Anyway, in here you can see the typical F96T12/HO strips that's used to light the station platforms there. I think most of them had 5000K Hitachi lamps, 110w lamps too. I don't think I saw any 95w energy saving lamps there. I was a bit surprised at seeing them in use too. I didn't know 8 footers made it to Japan. Unfortunately, it seems like LED is around the corner, some stations got 4' LED replacement fixtures.
