Complete rewiring of my light display.
Yesterday I opened my outlet box because grounding wasn't working (I was doing HV experiment and I use the ground), and I saw that wiring was so bad! So I entirely remade the wiring. I kept the boxes, the outlet, the switch and the light fixture, but the circuit got new Romex cables that are long enough.

The old circuit was awful, the new circuit is clean, tidy and SAFE. I didn't install the plates before everything was PERFECT.

will you attach the romex wires to the wood? (using those big staple nails....)

I need to buy those ^_^' For now I tape the romex cable on the pole. The cable will be attached at 12 in. of the boxes (except that little part between outlet and switch, too short.)

Looking good Vince, I redid my fluorescent lighting setup a few months ago with new romex wires with a bank of switches to control them. Before rewiring I used to have my fixture wired with cords and plugged them into a power strip.

I was thinking of doing something like this, but I don't have my own workshop space. Just a kiddi corner where i store my lights. and space on a shelf for my tool box and my lamps.

I've only wired up some of my fluorescent lights, my streetlights and HID fixtures still use cords or are unwired.
