Powerlite Mini Gumball After a failed attempt at trying to get one of these a couple of years ago, I was pleased to see this guy at a antique store. It's designed as a incandescent fixture for up to 300w but all of the ones I've seen in service are wired up for remote ballasted 100w mercury. This one is shown running a 125w Philips mercury lamp. AWESOME!!! I love these mini Powerlite gumballs. Not a huge fan of "regular" gumballs. I like the semi-tapered refractor better than the round refractors. Looks like a giant glass thimble.

Thanks! I also think these are pretty neat fixtures. I currently have this mounted on display in my room. I've uploaded a pic to my gallery.
