Ooo induction. Yeah induction lighting doesn't seem like it will ever catch on for residential lighting. It's bascially the HO equivalent of a CFL and I've heard they really give off a lot of heat. My 85W Philips induction lamp sure does.

These were available here (UK) many years ago but have not seen these since, they did give out a bit of heat, and will keep my eyes open for one at our bootsales.
