1.  I'm going down to CA this summer, to get the M-400A going again in theory, and start driving, and hunting for a deuce and a half
2.  I'm going on a college tour trip in a couple weeks, for a week. Looking at larger cities like Juneau, Anchorage, and Fairbanks...something that's a change from my current living situation
3.  I walk almost a mile each way to and from school, and love the walk. Beats sitting in traffic each way for 30 minutes!

First, answer is I patronize WalMart frequently.

1. I once picked up a 100w mercury vapor AEL 113 and threw it in a dumpster when helping clean up storm damage.
2. I have only 2 cobraheads in my collection and I am not allowed to get any more  :P
3. I emailed the city council suggesting to convert some HPS post top park lights to metal halide and they converted them.

#1: I nearly caused a fire when blowing up capacitors when i was younger.
#2: I have 2 (42L/11.25Gal) bins full of CFLs.
#3: I blew up a metal halide lamp on a microwave oven transformer.

Yes, right first time, it's actually green I can't stand..!  I guess no. 3 was a bit of a giveaway considering my avatar picture..! Which is of my pussycat Missy, who died in 2013 aged 18, she was the most wonderful cat I've ever known  :)

I'd think it's no. 1 for you, that's the sort of thing I'd have done, anyway..!

#1 did happen, what happened was a spark from an exploded capacitor landed in some dead grass about 10 feet (or 3 meters) away. Thankfully i got things under control very quickly so nothing bad happened.

#3 is the lie.

#1 I made my own lightbulb icons but have not used any of them on this or any other site.
#2 I destroyed a vintage lamp when i was younger without knowing it.
#3 I currently don't have any cobrahead street lights in my collection.
