Picture Association
« on: April 12, 2011, 10:57:08 PM »
So I've found this idea for a new game online, basically I'll start by posting a picture and the person below me will continue by posting a picture that's somewhat related to the previous picture.

Note: If don't know how to post a pic in the forum please see this thread for some information and tips on how to post picutres on the forum

Ok, just make sure that you get the link to the file instead of the page so to post the pic that you wanted you would do this:

Code: [Select]

To get the correct link you have to right click the pic and select the "copy image location" or similar function that appears on the pop up menu. Usually the correct link will have  something like .jpg, .bmp, .gif, or .png at the very end.

But since the pic is a lot wider than the forum page it would cause the page layout to look messed up especially on older screen with lower resolution. I would use the smaller pic instead like the normal/medium sized one on the GoL comment page. Which means your img code will should look like this:

Code: [Select]

And when posted:

The normal/medium sized picture shouldn't cause the forum to stretch. You don't have to use pics from GoL or LG too, you can use any picture from the internet but I would keep it under 800 pix or so wide to avoid the stretching issue.

Hope that clarifies it more, and reply or PM me if you want more help.
