This is my best story yet No way as good as "GEsoftwhite100watts" find and carting 8FT fixtures through a college campus (Well the longest I carried something of weight without any assistance)
I once carried a CSB EVH12390 SLA battery for 3/4 of a mile I was taking a walk and I noticed it in a trash pile with the remains of the cut wires. So anyway I took it on the off chance it was still good (It was good and also fully charged) so I walked about 3/4 of a mile with a 25lb battery. I got some strange looks and a couple of people asked me what I was doing with a "car" battery. I think this battery was from a broken power wheel chair as there was the remains of one in another trash pile.

This is non lighting related, but a few years ago I carried in my arms a cuddly reindeer that was about 3' tall  through one of the big shopping malls in town.  ;D

That's the key to being popular on the public transit!
