Cool vids! I like those European light fixtures. Very cool to look at. Even the modern ones.

@FGS and GullWhiz: Thank you.
@GullWhiz: the funny thing is , I thought I switched out the camara while crashing the lamp.  :D

BTW I hope, more of streetlights collectors will make films about their streetlights. For yourself it is normal and not interesting how to open a lantern for example, but for people who never saw them ,it can be very interesting. I am for example very interested to know how to open some old post-top lanterns .

That's what I like about vids of lanterns. Show everything how a lantern is opened and how the gear's set up. A pic is a thousand words. A vid is a infinite words. I am thinking of making one myself as soon I find a good vid editor for my XP computer.

actually I am interested in some lanterns how it is opened.....for example for some USA fixtures some old ones opens in weird way like McGraw Unidor 175s actually has a 2 way latch! and the OV-12s you have to open the top to access the ballast and open the bottom refractor door for the lamp....Perhaps some day I'll post some vidoes of fixtures that requires special opening!

Great idea Jace. But make a vid of the ones that open the normal way. It's normal for us but unheard of in other countries outside the US. Same way in other countries. Normal for them but different for us. ;D

I am still looking for a good vid editor cuz my computer didn't come with one.
