I am too looking for a Maganetic NST....I do have one though, but I took it apart in attempt to remove one of the transformers inside (it has two...one 5000 volt and one 3000 volt....but I had a hard time....so I let it go and put it away.....its hard to close it and stuff....and I am a bit too scared to repower it!!! They can KILL!)

I have a pair of transformers from a UPS for computers in case of power blackout....

Will they be helpful for anything, experiments or whatever? What would they be useful for? Let me know if anyone here can be helpful with this....

You could try looking for them in used building supply places which is where I got mine from or a electronic surplus store which might also sell them.
