I knew you would like this, Adam
You hit the nail on the head, Robert.
Thanks!
Los Angeles, California, USA lighting at The Big Fix, Movie, 1978.
There is a duplicate image of a street with mercs. Do you know whether L.A. in 1978 used clear or DX coated (MBF) mercury lamps?
I'm interested because of their bluish colour in the picture. They look the same as clear mercs in pictures
pic1,
pic2 by our collector Stanislav Slabyhoudek (he's also an LG member under a different name, not very active though) from Prague in 1960.
Looks like film sees clear mercs rather bluish while digital cameras see both clear and DX coated MV lamps pretty greenish or green
I might put this question to a photographic site I'm a member of but I'd like to know if they're clear or not...
