My very first lamp tester!
The story behind that lamp tester begins in summer 2007! It was when I was a beginner in dumpster diving. I went to what was my usual dumpster diving place, now gone, and I found, among other lamps, a broken table lamp. Of course I didn't want to leave it behind, so I broke the rest of the porcelain base and kept the cord and socket. Since then I only removed the bolt that used to hold the socket on the base.

I've tested hundreds of lamps with it since 2007!

Great background and great lighting perspective! Photographer's pick! 5 Stars!

Sun is free and provides the best light for pics! Plus I adopted the cardboard background since I have over 20 huge cardboard panels!

You don't even need an expensive camera! All pics my HPIM in the filename are taken with my HP v5061u camera, which is a 120$ cheap camera! And it has manual focus LOL.

Totally agreed! But more features on cameras helps! Going Manual can be really helpful!!!

Sun does a great job! Even for outdoor shots, sun helps the quality of the pictures since sun is FULL SPECTRUM also!
