Not all the designs are orignal though..for example...look at the stem press..., you can see the exhaust tube in the bottom....the orginal ones were located on the top where the pointy part was....there was no exhaust tube in the bottom...which can totally tell if its reproduction or an original!!! The point on the top of those reproduction isn't really the same as the original...but those lamps are STILL COOL!

See the package at Feit Electric The Original Vintage Style Bulb Wink

But, I am not surprise that this filament is the modern Tungsten drawing.

wow i love it!
how much did it cost?
I haven't seen them at my lowes at all

I haven't seen this at my Lowe's at all too, pretty neat.

I bought of these at Lowes, its sweet! Pretty close to the original, right to the solid glass arbor. Looks a lot like a 1915 Mazda cage filament lamp lit up.

@A_lights: I think I paid pretty close to US$ 9.

Come think of this now, with the inflation adjusted and pretty much cheaper to buy this bulb if it was sold back in 1910's with this price.

I guess you need to keep on looking at other Lowes. That is how I have done looking at three different Lowes at my area to find another one. Cool

I got one of these for free, they seem to be descent lamps. They are used in one of our late 1800's street cars at the museum, they look great and do pretty well in a rough service environment!

I bought one at Lowe's for $8.99

i just started seeing these recently at lowes...
xmaslightguy   [Jul 10, 2015 at 03:13 AM]
I've seen bulbs like this at Lowes & HD, and will admit they look pretty cool Cool
But they're overpriced, and I try to avoid 'Feit' bulbs...
streetlight98   [Jul 10, 2015 at 09:00 AM]
Yeah they're cool but way overpriced. Feit bulbs are generally junk so I haven't felt the need to buy one.
joe_347V   [Jul 10, 2015 at 10:15 PM]
Yeah these are usually overpriced at the box store but they have popped up at Restore from time to time. I think people buy them not realizing they're dimmer and lower colour temperature compared to regular incandescents and donate them to the Restore once they find out lol.

I do prefer the Ferrowatt bulbs over this as the Ferrowatt bulbs use a real carbon filament instead of a underdriven tungsten filament.
streetlight98   [Jul 11, 2015 at 02:07 PM]
Yeah they still use the same wattages as "normal" incandescents but very very few lumens lol. Ah so if you wanted to, you could run this at a higher voltage to get more light.
