Don't know the official term as I hear it called mant things. I know that it isn't an upsweep, i thing it is a Tapered Elliptical arm

This isn't a tapered elliptical arm, it's missing the taper part! This stays the same size through the whole arm, a tapered E gets smaller.

Well it's a crook arm then.
The tapered e arms are as common as gulls here.
