I'd rather keep them... Smile 13 Watts is a lot of heat for a poor LED to stay in. Definitely not a bulb for fully enclosed luminaires.
+1 for 5000K.

Those Ecosmarts are not the best. I notice they go dim and start flickering after a while. The Philips ones do better.

Sure the huge heat snk is great but good luck finding a fixture this will fit in other than a recessed can (which this shouldn't be used in anyway lol).

Imagine these in a ceiling fan, table lamp, jelly-jar porch light, etc... Laughing

UGH! I'd be going around unscrewing them and sticking incandescents back in lol. When I buy a house, I assume most of the lamps will either be CFLs or maybe even LEDs. If they're CFLs they're being removed but if they're LEDs I'll probably keep certain ones if they "fit" the fixtures nicely.

LOL I laughed reading the first part of your comment. I have no issue with CFLs or most LEDs but might stick halogens in as they died if I was on grid power...off grid like the place I'm in now CFLs or LEDs would be necessary though.
