That is strange. It seems Graybar is reasonably priced. Grainger has soem outrageous prices on their site. Rolling Eyes Shocked

I agree, Grainger's prices on lights are much more expensive..
streetlight98   [Nov 01, 2011 at 08:59 PM]
$126 is a bit much for a NEMA head though. NEMAs are suposed to be a low cost alternative.....
gramirez2012   [Nov 01, 2011 at 09:01 PM]
I agree. GE's 201SA pack w/ arm, lamp, and PC are around $80 or so... Then again, this is an MH fixture.

Is it more than a MH Cobrahead????
I know one member in this webpage who used to work at Graybar I believe...

@Jace, yes look at the other pic I uploaded with the 115 FCO MH quotes.

I'm surprised that the NEMA heads are actually more expensive than the cobraheads.
streetlight98   [Nov 02, 2011 at 12:30 AM]
Me too. NEMAs are usually used when there's a tight budget becuase they're suposed to be cheaper...... I'd guess that a NEMA head for this type and wattage should cost around $90 at MOST.
joe_347V   [Nov 02, 2011 at 12:49 AM]
I was expecting more like NEMA 70-90 and cobrahead 90-130. Well I guess we know why yardlights are so popular now. Maybe the box stores should start selling cobras now, they sell HPS yardlights for more than a 100 here.
streetlight98   [Nov 02, 2011 at 01:21 AM]
Here too. Any their made of the cheeseiest materials ever. I'm just waiting to start seeing fiberglass yardblasters. Shocked Rolling Eyes
joe_347V   [Nov 02, 2011 at 01:49 AM]
Well I think the LOA ones are already plastic so I'm no surprised they'll come out with fibreglass blasters.

DuraBlaster. Laughing Note how AEL never says that the Durastars are friberglass- or even not metal.

They call them "Advanced Roadway Luminaires". Razz
streetlight98   [Nov 02, 2011 at 02:39 AM]
It would be more advanced if it were all metal instead of fiberglass. Razz
