Blink Happy Competition!

(1/2) > >>

Jace the Gull:
I just thought....for fun...this isn't really a win/lose competition.....but to try hard to make blink happy videos using fluorescent lights, the happier the better. Now more fixtures does NOT mean happier......it also depends on how blink happy each fixtures are!....

Some rules would be,

-Do not use totally spent lamps (types that will keep blinking and never stay on fully)
-Do not edit video at all, not even for titles, it must come directly from the camera
-It must come from either 120 volt mains or 230/240 volt mains.
-Do not use self ballast CFL.....CFL is fine as long it is not self ballast (example using a ballasted fixtures with 2 PL lamps) is fine

Try to use as many fixtures as possible in same time...but that will NOT increase chance of being "blink happier" but what makes it happier is more blinking per fixture, so if you can make more fixtures blink more....that is happier....

What do you guys think?!

A challenge to keep us busy!

Vince:
My most blink-happy fluorescent is my circline adapter, but now the starter begins to get stuck...  :-\

joe_347V:
My most blink happy fluorescent is my exit sign, it also had trouble starting in the dark before I changed the starter which seemed to fix the problem. I'll see if I can get a video of the sign turning on later.

Jace the Gull:
Hey give us some videos...post them in youtube and link them! :-D

Here is mine.....see if you can beat this blink happy..

If anyone beats me, I'll attempt to try to make it more happier! Good luck guys!
