Please ID these new street lights!

Hi,

Can you please identify the type of lamps used in this newly upgraded section very near my residence? It's in a suburb of Montreal, Canada. The light looked like halogen incandescent in color.

I used a diffraction grating and noticed very complex spectra. In the following image, I tried to compare known lamp types to these "improved" white-light street-lamps. They are not metal-halide or like xenon-fired headlights; scandium is missing from the spectra. They are much warmer. Apparently they contain sodium, mercury, and either or, thallium and xenon? Are these Induction lamps? The bright green line is near 535nm (thallium). I've noticed these in other sections in ornamental fixtures. (I drive around with a diffraction grating within easy reach..don't you?). So what do I got here?

Those lights are LED most likely. I'm not sure of the make or model though sorry.

LED with mercury spectral lines and sodium self absorption at the D-line resonance?? Not likely.

I did some searching for induction lamps...http://www.lamptech.co.uk/Electrodeless.htm

Clicking on the links for each type, you'll notice spectra on some of them. Essentially mercury spectra with phosphors. Although this site doesn't include street-lights, those designed for street illumination probably are made with sodium/mercury/rare gas mixtures.

They are the incandescent-like color ceramic MH and have efficiency and life of a HPS as far as I know and remember......

Those are now being used in Chicago....they recently started using those and uses electronic ballast...

As far as I know, induction doesn't have sodium in it. They are basically like MV, with phosphor and argon....even more like a Fluorescent...

Looking at the picture, it looks like it's coming from a clear lamp source, instead of a phosphor....

But I have seen streetlight induction, but they are usually 4000K and 5000K using those lamps

But I have seen softer white induction but it would have more fluorescent appearance...and wouldn't have sodium...as far as I know...

Here's a picture of  induction I took...at a parking lot here  which were using those which are the exact ones in the parking lot scene I took

so your pic, has more MH look but softer white so I assume Philips Cosmopolis?
