hi guys I got new 10A variac from here http://www.wattbits.com/cmv10e-1.html. so I can run odd volt lamps 60hz ballasts test and  blow the crap out of cheep PRC stuff ;D. the variac can go up from 0V to 270V with 240V in or if you put 120 in you can get 0 to 140V out.

I have an old aged variac.....that blew up many times! and got many repairs.....it's now behaving........after I put it in a new casing!
