Okay. Now THAT's ugly! Solar and wind powered LED streetlight. Different looking. Definitely something I would add to my streetlight collection someday.

Now that's even worse looking than a durastar, however it does seem pretty neat it that it's both wind and solar powered. I've never heard of one that's powered by both before.

I think these creations are blind shots - it might find some special application, where the small amount of light is enough and where this is cheaper then electrical connection (remote from existing electrical network), otherwise it is really nonsense. But even in such special applications, or the wind or solar power would be sufficient, but implement both is really an overkill...
I think it is more a show-case then real device for practical use...
