Well I guess they could make different colour tones to match 130v incandescents, halogen, etc.

Yeah LED seems to have a very flexable color temperature.

Fluorescent does too but to a less extent.

Yeah. i'm not a fan of the warm white fluorescent lamps. Too drab. LED has bright crisp light. The cool white, 5000K, and 6500K are my favorite color temps.
