Title: Silverliner wasps

Hi everyone, Im not sure if its just some thing that affects me or if its a more wide spread problem but has any one noticed that Silverliners get wasp nests in them alot, the reason I ask is I have two and both had nest in them. I think it is the latch design but they seem to love SilverLiners.

A lot of my fixtures had wasp nests inside....

More likely they entered the slipfitter area....thats where most commonly it happens....

McGraw Unidor are commonly known to get bird nests inside!

Westinghouse MO-8s gets bird nests a lot from an opening below the socket if the factory made cover got broken!

Older Silverliners seems to rarely get those junk get in, although it may be a bit different on newer ones, depending on the slipfitter design.

I had one in my Westinghouse OV-15 with bees still alive inside. :o

And Power-Lites get bird nests alot.

I have noticed your Silverliner hidges were different from mine...yours must be a newer redesign.....

Well my OV-15 is a Crouse-Hinds and my OV-25 was made in Nov. 1983 so both are fairly new.
