Title: FOUND: Looking for 110v mogul socket
Post by: Nevada Willis on June 03, 2011, 09:03:44 PM
I'm trying to restore an old GE and I need a mogul socket.  Not real fussy.  This is the design where the mounting holes are outboard from the socket - 2 3/16 inches apart.  Anyone have a socket salvaged from a wreck to sell or trade?

Found one.  Thanks!

Honestly, you sure ask for a lot....but yet you have ONE of the COOLEST stuff in the collection! I don't really blame you for asking a lot...I can be like that ya know...but I try to keep myself to the "limit" but I do hope you get what you want....but I'm sure there's a lot of collectors who would want some of your fixtures

Yep I am one of them....I really really really like and want  this thing  (http://www.galleryoflights.org/mb/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-3229)

Nobody really can get everything....actually...or it's....its never enough for anyone! ;-) ;-)

Oh yeah.  The Spherolite, Jr.  It is cool, but I had to pay $100 to get it!  If I come across another I'll let you know.

I payed a fair price of $140 for my NOS GE M-400 from 1973. 400w MV. It's one of my favorite medium cobraheads. (The 60's M-400 being my all-time favorite)

I got my M-400 R2 for only 70 dollars. That included shipping! It was a very cheap light. It wasn't buy it now it was a bid though.

I got the M-400 R2 like 6 or 7 years ago. xD I don't even remember it was so long ago..

It was mercury vapor and old and unused, so it was worth it for me.

Not bad for a never used and NOS fixture!

I'd say that's a pretty good price for a NOS fixture.

yeah not bad at all. I just needed to buy the lamp, PC and cord. The ballast is considerably loud for never being used but doesn't get too hot.
