Anybody find the part where the seller says it's brand new but it sat outside funny?

Anyways here's another streetlight ad, price is sure to shock:

For $2400.00 he'd better throw in the chair.

I must have missed the concept here.  I use this stuff for area lighting around the ranch.  If he actually sells this thing, I obviously should have been in the art business instead.

How about this one?  Add a chain, then add $800.00.

I am playing with the idea of using old streetlights for lighting around the house, like some of y'all have done.  But I never figured it on being so chic!

Yeah I hope that chair is included too :P Really though do they think people will buy these lights, I got a OV-25 for free and I could make that base for $25 (its ugly looking any ways)

Yeah if I really wanted to I could make something with my B2255, and a old metal base that I have lying around. All I need is a short section of pipe.

But really I wonder who would actually buy old streetlights at those prices anyways, especially a cobra which I bet will be way less even if you order it at a lighting supply place.

I guess it never dawns on some people to actually check other auctions to see what things are really selling for so they can set opening bids that actually reside on this planet.

Come to think of it, if these prices were real most of us would be millionaires!   :o

Yeah I always laugh a bit when I see them, and these are usually the auctions I keep seeing over and over too because the seller keeps listing it even though no one is going to buy it.

Or you can get a GE Mazda bulb for the buy it now price of only $750.00!  The listing says that the bulb has never been out of the package.  (Maybe someone should tell the lister that the photo shows the bulb out of the package...  :-[ )
