Post by: basilicon89 on January 02, 2011, 12:42:25 PM
Hey all,
New to this forum. I was asked to join by another member because of my fairly extensive knowledge on traffic signals. Feel free to ask any questions regarding signals. Check the traffic lights album and my album to see pictures and detail of my stuff. Here is a video of my stuff in operation.

Your traffic lights is significantly different then the traffic lights we have in Israel.
Here  (http://www.galleryoflights.org/mb/index.php?topic=372.0) is my post of how traffic lights in Israel works.
Your pedestrian lights are also significantly different then the ones we have in Israel.
Pedestrian lights in Israel have only two modes: red standing man (Means don't walk) and green walking man (Means you can walk).
These two lights are switched instantly, and there is no count down in the israelis pedestrian lights at all. They instantly goes from green to red.
Also the flashing red light in your traffic lights are really nonexist in traffic lights in Israel. Same also with the red and yellow arrows which are also nonexists in Israel. Only green arrows are in use in the green lights of traffic lights (Although i saw a red arrows in traffic lights of the junction near Meginim street when i was a child).
You can see my gallery of my photos of the traffic lights in Israel.
They are all colored black to assist seeing the lights and on them, they have lighted arrow signs that lit with 22W T9 circular fluorescent lamps operating by magnetic ballasts with glow starter.
