Offering my Crouse Hinds Type D / DT four way signal for sale. The signal was restored to a high gloss federal yellow finish and displays nice.
It is not perfect, needs to have detail work done to finish it. Namely, gaskets, new lens, visor and door hardware.
The hinges on most of the doors are damaged and will need to be fixed, they're bent.
The top, bottom, frames and visors are flawless.
Red and Yellow levels are Type D, and the bottom is a Type DT, likely due to being hit while in service or conversion from 2 section to 3 sections. Reflectors inside are a mix of glass and aluminum.
Lenses are mostly Crouse Hinds smileys, a few Eagles and an Econolite mixed in...all glass. A few have BB holes but no cracks.
This is a great four-way signal to use for parts on another project or work on the details.
I am putting this on the market because I prefer my Type M four way and I wont have time to work on it further with the move.
Here is the catch...pick up only. I am located in Michigan, about 30 minutes north of Detroit. If you are interested you'll have to road trip to pick it up, I am not going to ship it. I will partially disassemble it if necessary.
Bottom line...it will need some minor detail work but has been refinished already with great and durable powder coating.
The price is $800 or best reasonable offer. PM me if interested. I will throw in the stand for free, and the lamps will be included no charge. No controller or power cords included.
If someone is interested but cannot make a trip until a later date, I will store the four way until a pickup can be made. Payment must be made in advance in this case.

Nice 4-way and a fair asking price for a mostly restored piece. I wish you weren't so far away but this is a good chance for someone to get a decent DT that isn't missing a bunch of parts. Good luck!

Thanks Willis! I hope someone finds it interesting. I don't know how much luck I'll have with a pick up only sale, but it will give someone a chance to come see my other stuff! Haha
But it is a nice four way, which I forgot includes the weatherhead/hanger, also powdercoated.
Especially with beacons going for $600 lately, and unrestored four ways missing major parts going for more, I think this is a very fair price. I'm willing to work with the buyer
