Title: Where to buy MV lamps in the GTA

Does anyone know where (in the Greater Toronto Area) that I can buy some mercury vapor lamps (Sylvania, Philips, GE)? I saw that many hardware stores here have sold them away on clearance, and none are left where I live.

I'm in the GTA, and I got most of my MV lamps from the hardware stores that used to sell them. I also got a few from various Habitat Restores (various locations in GTA, selection will vary and you will have to visit frequently). There's a couple of vintage ones I got off eBay but for modern ones I don't recommend it as shipping will be around 15 if you're buying from the States.

I haven't been there yet but this (http://www.bulbscanada.com/) place sells them and they have a pickup location in Scarborough but they selll Plusrite MV lamps.

You might be able to get them from here (https://ontario.westburne.ca//home.action) (Various locations around GTA) and here. (http://www.supremelighting.ca/about_us.php) (Markham, Hwy 7 and Markham Rd. area)

I used to go to Bulbs Canada frequently, but they can get specialty (germicidal, induction) and name brand (Sylvania, GE) on demand if one wants them. With the other ones, they don't have clear 175w MV lamps, which I do want. (all coated)

Apparently Lowe's (http://www.lowes.ca/hid-light-bulbs/sylvania-175-watt-indoor-mogul-light-bulb_g1440250.html?isku=9940006&linkloc=cataLogProductItemsImage) online still shows the 175w clear merc in stock. You might want to try to see if you can order one from there.
