Hey everyone! Here I'll post pics of my exit signs. I currently own three. :)
This is the oldest one, a late 1950s Prescolite exit sign. It's the preheat fluorescent kind, with two F6T5 tubes inside. I got it from ebay a while back. (Please excuse the baby-ish wooden blocks underneath; that's all I had laying around to prop it up so the wiring had space to come out of the bottom... :D)

The next one is also a Prescolite, but this one is from the late 60s or early 70s. This one has two standard base incandescent bulbs inside (came with two 11W sign bulbs; sockets can hold up to 25W each). This one came from a demolition sale. Also, the arrow is not original - the previous owner spray-painted it on with a stencil of some kind. Still looks cool though. 8)

The last one is also a Prescolite (you can tell what my favorite exit sign brand is, haha... ;D). It's the newest one, and it's from 1993. This one has two tubular candelabra base bulbs inside (I think they're 15W or something?). My uncle found this thing at a garage sale, still in the original packaging! Kinda cool that this one has green lettering instead of red like the other two.

All together now:

Thanks! Yeah, I like those fluorescent ones too - seems like they're not as common as incandescent and those LED ones they make now.

Nice exit signs - I like those! Looks like you have a nice variety.

Interesting stuff, I like the fluorescent signs too. I have a few exit signs myself too.

The most I have is the face of an LED exit sign. I don't have the other half lol.

Hmm... I wonder where that triangle-shaped exit sign came from! ;D
