Streetlight failures

(1/2) > >>

mercuryvaporrocks:
I've been noticing several streetlights in my area failing I think because of this big heat wave we've been having all summer, is anyone else seeing what I'm seeing?  :o

gailgrove:
I noticed it during the winter here, although I think a few traffic light controllers have over heated (I am seeing more traffic light failures)

Mike:
I have noticed LOTS of dayburners and spent bulbs as well as fried ballasts. Only some. All of them have been Coopers or M-250R2's. :-\

Jace the Gull:
Last winter there was some mysterious streetlight replacement....when the last time I saw them was working fine.....the two important streetlights that got replaced for unknown reasons are a GE M-250R (silver remote PC) and a OV-14B (remote PC).....they worked FINE the last time I saw it right before the BIG BIG BIG blizzard....after that said blizzard...those two were gone, same for a few others...a dayburner GE M-400A1 and a glassless GE M-400A1

Mike:
Hmm. Seems to be a trend here.......................
