ok gang....here's what were going to do...we are going to post about the time we found something TOTALLY sweet and unexpected in the Cities we live in.

I'll Start

Today......while Driving i Noticed near a College...there was a Silverliner OV-25 on a Double guy Wire Arm!....i bet its mercury!

Next To it was a Dimly Dayburning Mercury M400A!

keep in mind this is lighting a Public Road!

Today (one hour ago) I noticed that the four remaining mercs (out of 2600 lights that have been HPS since 2007) in my municipality  have been relamped, after being very dim for years.

EDIT: They have now been replaced by HPS!


Another surprise, but not a good one, is that they have installed LED streetlights on a newly built road and maybe replaced some HPS with them on another road. I have been busy today and have been away for a couple of weeks, so I haven't had time to check them out yet.

that's intreasting....no Photocell.
