Sylvania 400w Tubular Clear Merc (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-NOS-Sylvania-H33-1AR-400-W-H33AR-400-Mercury-Vapor-Sodium-Lamp-Bulb-Aircraft-/200975479073?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ecb127121) - Looks to be 1960s? but I'm not sure why these were made. My best guess is that these were intended to for use in fixtures designed for tubular medium pressure mercs as BT shaped ones might not fit.

Hmm. it says it came from a military base so maybe it was for some kind of signal? Interesting nonetheless! The etch looks like it could be a 50s or 60s etch. I don't see the triangle -S- logo anywhere though.

Yeah, it's definitely a interesting lamp. The sleeve is a similar style to the ones my 1960s BT-25s came in so that's why I guess they were also from the 60s.

Oh and here's some stuff on Kiijii:

Powerlite (http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAdLargeImage?AdId=539201442) gumball, looks to be newer than mine as the slipfitter is a separate piece and the latches are stamped instead of cast. Good price though. Not sure if bulb is still there but 300w mogul based bulbs from hardware stores work find in them.

70w HPS AEL 113 (http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-business-industrial-Street-lamp-and-pole-W0QQAdIdZ534155251) Comes with arm but bulb is missing.

Powerlite gumball (http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-home-outdoor-outdoor-lighting-Outdoor-light-fixture-street-lamp-W0QQAdIdZ531068832) like the first one but this one looks to be almost NOS.
