This is the biggest island of the Hawaiian islands, not the one with Honolulu. Since they have a lot of observatories, they've had LPS lights for a long time. Now they're switching to LEDs, that are an odd colour:

if these are anything like the ones i encountered on saint simons last month, they're horrid, but it seems that these are just regular led lights with a minus blue filter.
