.....that T8 tubes are actually getting more expensive?
I bought a 10 case of CWF32T8's in HomeDepot 7 months ago for $15.
Now they are $26 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Price explosion!
Why is this? Shouldn't the price be going down so people switch to more efficient lights?
Even the T5's and T12's prices are rising slowly.

I've noticed it too... And for your question about the price supposed to be going down: well, the way i see it is that F32T8s became more expensive over the summer due to the fact that a good selection of F40T12 lamps were eliminated. The climb in price is probably because more home and business owners will be switching to T8 in the next few months to year (including my grandpa at his car repair shop/garage). If people are forced to use T8s (becuase T12 lamp selection is too narrow and T5 fixtures are too much $$$), the manufacturer will raise the price so they get more profit. Unfortunatly that's what goes down on Corperation Corner. :(

Makes sense...but T8 is so common now that I'm seeing them in 2-packs like F40T12s in home centers.

As far as i knew, F32T8s were always made in two packs...
