Welcome to the Powerlite Guide, this is a thread with some info on Powerlite and a pictorial guide of the known Powerlite models. This thread is quite picture heavy and long so I've included a couple of links below to quickly skip through. Feel free to reply below if you have any comments or something to add, and enjoy!

Well, I found some more info on older Powerlite designs and have attempted to match them up to some pics to form a field guide to Powerlite luminaires, I'll put the unconfirmed/speculative models under a separate heading to avoid confusion.

Please feel free to reply if you have any corrections or new info to add.

Also here's a Wikipedia page on Powerlite Devices that was created by Niall too.

Here's a list of some trademarks used by Powerlite Devices:

Here's a link to a pic of a old light that was apparently a Powerlite design, seems that Powerlite Devices was founded during 1918 or sometime before.

UPDATE: Here are some more pages on Powerlite, it seems that Powerlite was sold off by Osram Sylvania to a Montreal based company called the Kaufel Group in July 1993 which was in turn bought by Thomas & Betts Corp in September 1998.

That looks great, I'll add some more of this to the Wikipedia page as well, and I'm fine with you using my pictures ;)

joe_347V:
Thanks Niall, :D  I'll add more here as I find more info on Powerlite. Also you along with the rest of GoL can also add more info as a reply on this thread. I also fixed up some part of the guide too.
