It's #3, I HATE wolrd hitsory! I hate it so much that i didn't spell it right lol.
Well, since you're my age i know #3 is the lie.
1. Joe will be my first McCann Lighting customer (and probably the last for a while lol)
2. I will be making two identical 2X F13T5 shoplites that follow the same color scheme as my restored preheat industrial fixture, Joe will be buying one and I'm keeping the second.
3. I just got some automatic door decals today! They're round 6" NABCO/GyroTech ones. There's a black arrow on one side with a green border and the GyroTech logo (there used to be "IN" or "OUT" under the arrow where the logo is but they removed it in favor for free advertising.
) and the other side is a "do not enter" face, again with the gyrotech logo.
It seems that all the automatic door companies have put logos on their decals. Besam, Stanley, GyroTech, and Horton Automatics, though Horton has just "HORTON AUTOMATICS" in tiny print at the bottom and has always had that. Besam totally redesigned their logo and smeared their logo huge on both sides of the decal and i really hate it. The older version of their decal is my all-time favorite and is pictured in my gallery. The Horton Automatics decals are in my gallery too. I still kinda like the Gyro-Tech ones but i wish they had kept the traditional "IN" and "OUT" designations. So far, stanley is the only one to keep them, and i have failed at any attempt the get some.
I really hope to someday come across some unused Gyro tech decals with the old "IN" and "OUT" designations, but since they're no longer made that way, odds are slim. Plus i refuse to pay for stickers, so i usually jump around from distributor to distributor saying how i've searched the earth for so-and-so's automatic door decals to replace my damaged door decals at my store and was wondering if you can send me two enterance decals and two exit decals free of charge to my residential address. Sometimes it works, but other times they say they have to charge me. PArticularly Besam distributors. Apparently Besam charges their distributors for the stickers so in turn, the fee is passed on. Seems stupid to charge $15 for a round vinyl sticker.
The GyroTech ones are $4 each but the guy said he'd send my four free of charge (i guess he wanted to make a good impression so I'd call them if i ever need service for my so called "automatic doors" at my so called "store"? lol). The horton automatics decals were free anyways and they sent me a whole slew of them. I'll have to start nagging stanley distributors across the board again lol. Stanly is trickey becuase they don't list distributors on their website, i have to hunt online for them lol.
I'm also thinking of contacting Hubbel or GE or cooper or all three for some NEMA tags... I already asked AEL and it wasn't too easy to convince them to send me the tags lol.
