Our pedestrian signals, are much more simple: Red standing man light for "Don't walk" and Green walking man light for "Walk".
The green light, can be as short as 5 sec, before instantly returning to red.
And when the pedestrian light turns red while people still pass in the pedestrian crossing, they are allowed to continue cross it, while people that comes to it don't allowed to pass.
However, passing the pedestrian crossing in a red light, when there are no cars passing is very common in Israel.
