Philips Goldeye 
Here's a nice little Philips Goldeye from the late '80s, it's a small LPS security/area light that can be wall or ceiling mounted either vertically base up or horizontally. Interestingly the box also says it can be used indoors as an area light.

Thanks Niall, I believe these were sold at Home Hardware at one point but I found mine at a flea market.
